Business class is nice. A private jet is better. 😉 But coach is also fine.

Let me tell you something about business travel that nobody puts in the itinerary.

The meetings are fine. The conference room is fine. The hotel is probably lovely. But by Tuesday evening you've eaten room service alone twice, had three back-to-back calls that could have been emails, and the minibar is starting to look like genuine entertainment.

I've heard this story a hundred times. And I happen to be a very good solution to it. 😉

Business Travel Is Lonely — Let's Be Honest About That

There's a particular kind of loneliness that comes with a successful business trip. Everything is going well professionally. The deal is moving, the presentation landed, the client is happy. And then you're back in a beautiful hotel room with nothing but the city lights and your own company.

It's not a complaint. It's just the reality of traveling at a high level, frequently, often alone. The men who book me for business travel aren't struggling — they're successful, interesting, well-traveled people who simply want genuinely good company at the end of a demanding day.

That's a completely reasonable thing to want. And I'm very good at providing it.

What I Actually Bring to a Business Travel Date

Here's what I am not: a transactional experience you have to manage on top of an already full schedule.

Here's what I am: easy, interesting, low-drama company who shows up looking exactly right, can hold a real conversation, and makes the best part of your day feel effortless.

I'm a sapiosexual — I'm genuinely attracted to intelligence and I genuinely enjoy conversation with interesting men. The clients I see for business travel dates tend to be exactly that. CEOs, surgeons, attorneys, founders, people who think for a living and appreciate someone who can keep up. We're not short on things to talk about.

I dress appropriately for whatever the evening calls for. A quiet dinner at a great restaurant — I know how to behave in a Michelin-starred room. Drinks at the hotel bar — I'm charming and unpretentious. Something more private — I'm wonderful company there too. 😉

The Cities I Know Well

Being based in Park City / Salt Lake City gives me genuinely excellent flight access to the cities where business actually happens. Short hops, reasonable travel costs, I arrive without jet lag and ready for a real evening:

🎰 Las Vegas — I understand Las Vegas completely. The energy, the restaurants, the particular rhythm of a city that runs on deals and discretion. Very comfortable here.

🌵 Scottsdale & Phoenix — warm weather, stunning resorts, great golf if the day allows. One of my favorite destinations and I have family there.

🌊 San Diego — beautiful, relaxed, genuinely one of the nicest cities in America. Easy flight, lovely evenings.

🎬 Los Angeles — Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Malibu. I know the city well and I'm completely comfortable in its particular kind of luxury.

🌉 San Francisco — one of my favorite cities on earth. Extraordinary restaurants, great wine, the kind of city that rewards a real conversation over a long dinner.

✈️ New York, Chicago, Dallas — I've already made these trips and they were genuinely wonderful. These are proven favorites.

Somewhere not on this list? Ask. I travel widely and I'm open to most destinations that make sense.

Longer Is Better — And I Mean That Professionally

Business travel dates are where I genuinely shine on longer engagements. An evening is lovely. A full day — or two — is something else entirely.

The best business travel experiences I've been part of weren't rushed. A proper dinner, real conversation, an unhurried evening, waking up to a good morning in a beautiful hotel. That's the version of a business trip worth remembering.

I wrote a whole post about why I prefer longer engagements if you want the full honest version — the short version is that the best experiences in life simply can't be rushed. A great ski run, a perfect golf round, a genuinely memorable evening. None of them reward impatience.

Discretion Is Completely Standard

I want to say this clearly because it matters: discretion is not a bonus feature. It's the baseline.

I don't discuss clients. I don't post about bookings. I travel and behave in a way that attracts zero attention. The men who book me for business travel are often public figures, senior executives, or simply private people — and they stay that way. That's not something I need to be reminded of. It's simply how I operate.

How Business Travel Booking Works

A few practical details:

✈️ Flights — prepaid before I travel, always. This is completely standard for any serious FMTY arrangement and serious clients understand it immediately.

💳 Deposit — 25% secures the booking and covers initial travel arrangements.

📅 Lead time — one week minimum. Good travel arrangements take a little planning and I'd rather arrive organized than rushed.

🔒 Screening — required for all bookings. I travel to meet people in unfamiliar cities and a basic verification process protects us both. Straightforward, discreet, non-negotiable.
